Michael Vick

I'm not sure I understand some people's inability to comprehend why the fact that the NFL allowed Vick back into the league and that the Eagles actually wanted to associate with him is so disgusting to many of us. They claim that it is only the media attention that stirs people up. Or that other NFL players have been convicted of crimes and no one has made a fuss. There is something sick inside of a man who tortures and kills animals for his own profit and pleasure. It makes me ill inside. And I think that is something much worse that other crimes that are reckless crimes or crimes of passion even if they were against humans instead of animals. It's all about the state of mind. Anyone can loose control. Anyone can make a mistake. But it takes a certain kind of evil to do what Vick did. And I refuse to support any team that wants him to be a part of their organization. I know the NFL isn't perfect and I wish they held their players to higher standard, which they will never do, but I also get to choose whom I support and what I choose to watch. The Eagles were a respectable team, but I can't say I wish them and Vick anything but bad luck.
